Sour Cream Container

Good morning again :) We had a big scrapbooking fundraiser here last week-end. It's called Scrap for Heart. The proceeds go to the Heart & Stroke foundation. It was a blast!! Twelve hours of non-stop scrapping! One my projects during Scrap for Heart was Sour Cream Containers. The instructions were posted on splitcoast a couple weeks ago. http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ee/index.php/resources/tutorials/sour_cream_container/
I thought they'd make great hostess thank you gifts, filled with Hershey's Hugs. I also really wanted to use my new stuff :D I'm not sure why they're called Sour Cream containers, but I'm assuming somewhere they sell sour cream in baggies like these. They're super easy to make! New stuff used to make this was my Berry Bliss DSP, my So Many Scallops SAB (Sale-a-bration) set & my Lots of Thoughts SAB set. The colour combo for Berry Bliss just makes me hungry for chocolate covered strawberries! I used the winter/snowflake stamp from So Many Scallops and the Lots of Thoughts for the "Thank you".

Ingredients:

Berry Bliss DSP, Close to Cocoa, Purely Pomagrante, Pretty in Pink - paper; Close to Cocoa - ink; So Many Scallops, Lots of Thoughts - stamp set; Theater Ribbon Originals, Scallop punch, 1 1/4" circle punch, 1" circle punch, 1/16" punch, white crochet cotton, crimper, sticky strips - accessories;

Mmmm... chocolate ;)

It is called a sour cream container because this is the shape sour cream comes in for cafeterias. I am a HS teacher...:) LOVE IT. Maybe I will be inspired to make some for my daughter's classmates.
