Curiosity Shoppe - Graphic 45

So I was browsing all the new scrapbooking products after the Winter CHA and found this great collection called Curiosity Shoppe by Graphic 45.  I was totally in love, however it didn't really say "Monthly Collection" to me...  Not everyone loves vintage as much as I do.  So, I decided to order just a minium order from the wholesaler... for me!  Here's the first page I've made with it...

Grandma`s Birthday

So I still have quite a bit of the Graceful collection left over & thought I would use it on this layout of my Grandma`s 91st Birthday :)    I used my two edge punches & my new Nestabilities dies for all the great edges on this layout.

Birthday card!

This was my Mom's birthday card from my Dad.  Each year he asks me to make one for him to give her.  This one was made using the Country Garden collection from BoBunny.  The orange scalloped piece in the middle with butterflies was from the cut outs page.  The flowers, button & ribbon were from my stash.  This card was super quick to make & I love how it turned out.  Hope you like it too!

April's Kit - "Graceful"

So this month's kit has a very Easter-y feel to me!  I'm not a huge purple fan but I love purple and yellow together.  This kit features a great plum color and a beautiful yellow/gold.  I think the stripe paper is my favorite from the whole pack but maybe the embossed ruler-ish paper wins... not sure :)  All the core impressions paper is great.  Love the embossing.  Here's a pic of the kit.. check it out www.createdwithpaper.com

Miscellaneous Projects

This delightful batch of scrapping goodies are the miscellaneous cards & treats I've made in the last couple months.   This first one, with the owls, was for my kids' classes Valentines.  The owls are made with various punches and the two little packages contain jujube hearts.  The larger card was just for their teachers.

This next card was for one of my friends who loves rainbow stripes.  The background paper was PERFECT for her :)  I used a flower die that cuts and embosses to make the floral collection.

This same friend's husband's birthday is the week after hers, so here's his card too. 















My beautiful Grandma turned 91 in February and this is her birthday card.  The big flower was made with the Island Floral Bigz Die.   It's such a gorgeous flower... I used it on one of my March video layouts and on my sister-in-law's birthday card too.

And last but not least, my youngest son turn 7!!!!!  Here's the birthday card I made for him.  The inside reads "go nuts!"  Very appropriate for him, LOL!

Portobello Road

March's kit was Portobello Road from the Lost & Found collection @ My Mind's Eye.  The colours in this kit really drew me but I wasn't sure if I should do yet another Lost & Found collection!  Was wondering if everyone was getting tired of it...  Well, not sure how everyone felt about it but I loved the pages I ended up making!

I had originally thought this kit was all silver and blue but there turned out to be an amazing amount of orange/peach and greens in the papers too.  Some of the designs were too beautiful for words!  All the designers came up with pages and cards I loved!  Seemed to settle all my worries about the huge pad of paper, LOL!  Check out all the samples at:  http://www.createdwithpaper.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=6817
