As a thank you gift to my son's teachers I made a little bag of cards & added his picture to a potted violet. To the left is the photo of the two together. The little bag contained a thank you card & three blank cards.
The apple card & bag were taken from here: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/942354?cat=12786&si=teacher
This was the little photo I stuck into the potted plant. I saw the saying on splitcoast & made my own. Using Tombow MultiAdhesive I adhered the green apple paper from Summer Picnic to a chipboard star. Then I glued on the picture and trimmed it to match the star. Next I sanded the edges of the star. Using the Crop-a-dile I punched two holes & added two Always Artichoke brads. I used the computer to create the circular text "Thanks for helping me grow!" and printed it on White & Artichoke paper. I punched them out with the 1 3/8" circle punch and the 3/4" circle punch and adhered it to the star. Finally, I taped the star to a pencil.
And last but not least, I made three blank cards. The orange one from two posts ago was one & these were the other two.

How creative! And green. Green is good.
Aww, gifts for the teacher already? Doesn't seem possible that he's so big already! Very neat idea ... much better than another apple mug!
