Sniff... Good-bye...
No, I'm not going anywhere... (*I wish*) Today I'm going to post the good-bye card I made for my office mate. We've shared our little office for over a year. He's leaving for an extended European tour and not expected to return. What a fabulous opportunity to use my World Tour set!!
This card is so me! I love vintage stuff and the overlapping labels just tickle me!! I was delighted to finally use this patterned paper too. I know... I sound so sad that he's leaving, but I've got to keep a positive attitude, don't I? Almost everything on or about this card is discontinued, but that's just how it goes, I guess.
Ingredients:
Cranberry Crisp, Buckaroo Blue, Confetti White, Sentimental Journey DSP - paper; Cranberry Crisp, Buckaroo Blue, Chocolate Chip - ink; World Tour, Rough Edges Mini Alphabet, Handbill Headlines - stamp sets; Chocolate Chip polytwill ribbon, library clip, 1 3/8" circle punch, linen thread, vintage brads - accessories;
I loved this set as soon as I saw it. Too bad it doesn't have more samples in the splitcoast gallery! If you have a card with this set, send me a picture at anyone@tbaytel.net & we'll post our own set of samples!!

Buggy Kids' Cards
For my party on Saturday, we chose a kid's birthday card as one of the make & takes. Because I couldn't decide if I should make a neutral, boy or girl birthday card, I came up with the idea of making an interchangable layout. I love that I like them indiviually as well as together. I think they turned out very cute! I was inspired by one of the cards from Stamper's Showcase a couple days ago.
Boy's Card Ingredients:
Wild Wasabi, Jersey Shore DSP, Bashful Blue, Brilliant Blue, Confetti White - paper; Only Orange, Wild Wasabi, Brilliant Blue - ink; Bugs & Kisses - stamp set; Spiral punch, 1 3/8" square punch, Bold Brights buttons, crochet cotton, glue dots - accessories;
Girl's Card Ingredients:
Groovy Guava, Ginger Blossom DSP, River Rock, Ruby Red, Very Vanilla - paper; River Rock, Groovy Guava, Cameo Coral - ink; Bugs & Kisses - stamp set; Pretties kit flower, gold brad, sprial punch, 1 3/8" square punch, Cameo Coral marker, Stampin' dimensional - accessories;
I'm glad they turned out so well! The bugs are so easy to frame with the square punch! I've had it for so long and I hardly use it... This was so quick!

Pretty Flowers
Today I'll post a card I CASE'd. This was for a coworker's wife's birthday. I really liked it, so I hope he did too :)
http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/828088?cat=12776&si=afternoon%20tea Ingredients:
Wild Wasabi, Soft Sky, Whisper White, Afternoon Tea DSP, watercolor paper - paper; Black Staz On, Soft Sky, Wild Wasabi - ink; Bloomin' Beautiful - stamp set; Love Birds white Rub Ons, Styled Silver Hodgepodge Hardware, Soft Sky and Wild Wasabi Double Stitched Ribbon, Stampin Dimensionals - accessories;
A few of the flowers are cut out and popped, for some added interest...
Also, I've added a link to my old web site. It'll make it easier for adding patterns, etc. to share.

More Shells
Today it's the gorgeous shell set again! I'm sooo in love with this set. I think I'm also in love with the idea of summer, sea & shells, but anyway...
This one's a birthday card for a guy friend/co-worker. (Same one with the baby name frame in the last post) I asked Brad (DH) if it was manly enough & he said "It's a handmade card... manly isn't really an option." So this is my pretty, masculine birthday card for a guy who'd understand that. I saw another card with this layout here:
