The promised layouts

So I've still been lagging behind in my postings, so here's a bunch of pictures to help make up for it :)

And now onto cards!! This card was the Valentine's card I made for my husband. I'd gone to visit my sister (8 hour drive away) during the Valentine's week-end & he suprised me by showing up on Valentine's day. I AM bananas about him :)

A Cherry on Top

One of the hostess stamp sets I got from the new catalogue was the Goody-Goody Gumdrops set. I think I'm going to have a lot of fun with this one. I really liked the sample I saw here http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1187438?cat=15691 on splitcoast. This card was my version of it :)

I have a NEICE!!

This beautiful baby is my neice Kaitlyn. There are so many boys in our family & we're all delighted to welcome our first girl. Two more weeks until I get to meet her :)

This is the name frame I made for her. I'm so totally thrilled with it!! So cool that I can actually make a pink and flowery thing!! The flower embellishments were made by stamping & embossing the flower from Delight in Life (SAB) and cutting them out. Some were stamped on two different colours of paper and the flower cut from one color & the center cut from another colour. Three have the half pearls for centers.

Pretty, pretty, pretty!

This is my most favorite new card. I made this with the samples for my Open House last Friday. I saw the Embosslit used to make this flower on another card @ splitcoast and loved it. I also loved this paper as soon as I saw it. It's such HAPPY paper :) To make this flower I ran two Regal Rose pieces of paper throught the Big Shot with the new Stampin' Up! Sweetest Stem Embosslit and one piece of Kiwi Kiss. I snipped the ends off the pink pieces and ink them with Regal Rose ink. Finally I glued them in layers behind the Kiwi Kiss piece. I think the faux stitiching down the side really adds to the quilted look made by the squares of patterned paper.

Love You Much

Hi Everyone... Sorry I haven't been posting lately! Hope this will start to make up for it :) I had my Open House party for the new catalogue (www.rosemary.stampinup.net) and everything turned out great! The Make & Takes for the party were all from the "Love You Much" Bundle

This little pillow box of candies was my thank you gift to each person attending the Open House. I think they're soooo cute!!

This mini pizza box & two 3x3 cards were the Make & Take. The card fit inside the box or you could use the box for chocolate & give it with one of the cards :)

I had a lovely Christmas vacation & sorted a lot of my house. Now I'm busy getting ready for my Open House and am busily making samples I'll share with you next week :)
