The Mother's Day CASE Extravaganza!

Leaving everything to the last moment, as usual, I made all my Mother's Day cards last night. Due to lack of planning, most of these are CASE'd. I'm excited about how they turned out though. I really like them all!
This first one is an exact CASE from http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/907020?cat=10720
When I uploaded my card yesterday on splitcoast, I saw this one right close to it... Same colours, same stamp set, same DSP... two people must be thinking the same way!!

Ingredients:

Berry Bliss DSP, Purely Pomegranate, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White - paper; Purely Pomegranate, Pretty in Pink - ink; Priceless - stamp set; Coluzzle, sponge dauber, 1" circle punch, 1 1/4" circle punch, 1 3/8" circle punch - accessories;

This was a fun card to make. I think it's for my Grandma.

This second card was inspired by http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/906631?cat=12786&si=strawberry. The white flowers with the strawberries really caught my eye.

Ingredients:

Kraft, Barely Banana, Prints Pack DSP, Whisper White - paper; Garden Green, Rose Red - ink; Tart & Tangy, All Holiday, Friendship Blooms (SAB) - stamp sets; Pretties Kit flowers, Barely Banana brads, Close to Cocoa marker - accessories;

And finally, this card was inspired by http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/900504?cat=10720

Ingredients:

Groovy Guava Prints DSP, Afternoon Tea DSP, Confetti White, Wild Wasabi - paper; Chocolate Chip, Groovy Guava - ink; Priceless, All Holiday - stamp sets; Hodgepodge Hardware, Theater Ribbon Originals, Sherbet Ribbon Originals, small oval punch - accessories;

A Cherry Thanks

This card happened quickly... I saw a card in the SU catalogue that had different squares lined up and thought it would be cool to make one with the different papers from the Summer Picinic set. I next decided to stamp the cherries with it & voila... the rest just happened :) I love it when cards go like that!

Ingredients:
Real Red, Old Olive, Bashful Blue, Whisper White, Summer Picnic DSP - paper; Real Red, Old Olive - ink; Tart & Tangy - stamp set; Red striped grograin ribbon, stapler, paper piercer, white gel pen, SAB rub ons - accessories;

I love the Rub Ons over the patterned paper. This is for a Thank You card swap, so I hope everyone likes it!

So Pretty... Love this Colour Combo

I made this card for my cousin's birthday. I absolutely love this colour combo. It makes me think of chocolate covered strawberries... yum! This card is fairly easy but I committed "rubbahdultery" (as Jan Tink says) and used Close to My Heart stamps to create the stitching.Ingredients:

Purely Pomegrante, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White, Berry Bliss DSP - paper; Close to Cocoa, Versa Mark, Purely Pomegranate - ink; Priceless, Sew Nice (CTMH) - stamp set; White Embossing Powder, Pink Taffeta Ribbon, Scallop Circle punch, 1 1/4" circle punch, Pretties Kit, SAB Rub Ons - accessories;

More Cards...

Here's another fairly quick card. It's a longer one than the standard. The masking & two-step stamping take a little bit longer but the layout is easy.
Ingredients:
Wild Wasabi, Blue Bayou, Not Quite Navy - ink; Wild Wasabi, Blue Bayou, Very Vanilla, Porcelain Prints DSP - paper; Wild Rose, Circle of Friendship - stamp set; Wild Wasabi Double-Stitched Ribbon, gold brads, label punch, 1 " circle punch - accessories;

I went out the Sleeping Giant Provincial Park on the week-end for a scrapbooking retreat. It was great! I'll share some of my pages soon :)

Mother's Day

Well, Mother's Day usually comes quicker than I think, so it's probably good that I have this make & take done :) I used this card as a tutorial & everyone really liked it. Decided to use it as a make & take at the next party.
Ingredients:
Garden Green, Certainly Celery, Regal Rose, Whisper White - paper; Garden Green - ink; Daisy Field wheel, All Holiday - stamp set; Stampin' Pastels, blender pen, Regal Rose grograin ribbon - accessories;
This is the easiest card!! I really like the colour combo for this one :)
